Can you canoe?

Summer is a time of water fun and family reunions. We were able stay at a cabin in the Uinta Mountains in Utah not to long ago for our own family reunion. We had fun riding 4 wheelers and playing tons of family games. One of our family activities included a trip to Lilly Lake to ride in canoes.

Safety is obviously important when you are going out with little ones so we made sure that we had a life jacket that would fit. We've all see these little guys at our favorite sporting goods store but did you know that they make even smaller ones?

We rented this one from a local gear shop last year for Ky just before he turned 6 months old. It's an infant sized NRS PFD, you can read more about children's PFDs here. It's not always easy to find gear out there for your little ones but it's out there and very much worth the hunt.
